List loaded Apache modules

root@server
apache2ctl -M

Lists all loaded modules such as rewrite_module (shared) or core_module (static). Useful to quickly check whether mod_rewrite, mod_headers or mod_expires are available before an .htaccess with matching directives causes a 500 error.

Note: Use apache2ctl -M | grep rewrite to look for a specific module.
