Check the contents of a CSR before submitting it

Adjust the values, the command updates live
user@server
openssl req -in example.com.csr -noout -text -verify

Decodes the CSR and shows the subject, the public key and, under Requested Extensions, the requested Subject Alternative Names. -verify additionally checks the signature. This catches typos in domains or missing www variants before a paid certificate is issued incorrectly.
