user@server
php -v

Prints the version of the PHP binary found first in PATH, including the Zend Engine and OPcache if present. This is the PHP version used by scripts, cron jobs and Composer in the shell. The version a website uses may differ.

Note: On Plesk servers, php is usually the Debian system version. The website versions live under /opt/plesk/php/<version>/bin/php.
