Create a domain alias in Plesk from the command line

Caution: This command changes the system. Understand what it does before you run it.

root@server
plesk bin domalias --create example.de -domain example.com

Creates an alias that points to the webspace of the given domain. Depending on the settings, Plesk also creates DNS records and mail forwarding for the alias. It can be undone with plesk bin domalias --delete.

Note: For SEO, an alias serves identical content under a second address. A 301 redirect to the main domain or a correct canonical tag is usually the better choice.
