Release a held package for updates again

Caution: This command changes the system. Understand what it does before you run it.

Adjust the values, the command updates live
root@server
apt-mark unhold mariadb-server

Removes the hold mark so the package is considered again on the next apt upgrade. The update itself is not installed yet. Do this as soon as the reason for the hold no longer applies, so security updates arrive again.

Note: apt-mark showhold lists all currently held packages.
