Extract a ZIP archive into a directory

Caution: This command changes the system. Understand what it does before you run it.

Adjust the values, the command updates live

unzip -q /var/www/vhosts/example.com/private/upload.zip -d /var/www/vhosts/example.com/private/upload

Extracts the archive into the target folder, which is created if needed. -q suppresses the list of all files. To look at the contents first, use unzip -l ARCHIV.

Note: If files already exist, unzip asks. unzip is not always installed: apt install unzip.
