Show only error messages in the system journal

Adjust the values, the command updates live
root@server
journalctl -p err -b --no-pager

Shows all messages since the current boot with priority err or more urgent (crit, alert, emerg). This filters out the everyday noise and leaves the entries that really need attention. Using warning as the priority includes warnings as well.
