Follow the error log of a Plesk domain live

Adjust the values, the command updates live
root@server
tail -f /var/www/vhosts/system/example.com/logs/error_log

Continuously prints every new line in the domain’s error_log; stop it with Ctrl+C. Best start the command and then open the failing page in the browser, so the matching message appears immediately. Depending on the PHP configuration, PHP errors and warnings end up there as well.

Note: On Plesk, nginx errors (for example 502 or upload limits) are logged separately in proxy_error_log in the same directory.
