Create an email mailbox in Plesk from the command line

Caution: This command changes the system. Understand what it does before you run it.

root@server
plesk bin mail --create info@example.com -mailbox true -passwd 'NewSecurePassword'

Creates the address with its own mailbox and sets the password. The domain must exist in Plesk and the mail service must be enabled for it. Handy when many addresses need to be created at once, for example in a loop.

Note: The password then appears in the shell history. Plesk checks the configured password policy and aborts if the password is too weak.
