Check health and wear of an NVMe SSD

Adjust the values, the command updates live
root@server
nvme smart-log /dev/nvme0

Reads the health log directly via the NVMe protocol. The key values are critical_warning (should be 0), percentage_used as wear relative to the manufacturer’s rating, and media_errors. data_units_written shows how much has been written so far.

Note: nvme list gives the device names. Package: apt install nvme-cli. Alternatively, smartctl -a /dev/nvme0 from smartmontools also works.
